Funding Information
Wyoming Library Multi-Purpose Community Facility Program – Federal Grant Award Amount: $1,755,550.00
SCPLS was awarded this federal grant in 2024 through the Wyoming State Library, overseen by the State Budget Office. We received funding in 2024 during the second round of this competitive grant program, which has provided critical updates to library facilities throughout Wyoming.
Grant Purpose & Restrictions
This restricted Federal grant is designated exclusively for facility renovations and cannot be used for any other purpose. The funding will support system wide renovations including:
- New furniture
- Carpet replacement
- Lighting upgrades
- Layouts and updates to spaces
Project Goals
The goal of these renovations is to improve our community’s opportunities for and access to information for work, education, and health monitoring. We are dedicated to creating a collection and space in each branch that will suit the needs of every member of our community.
