Interlibrary Loans

As a Sheridan County Library User, you are welcome to request items from other Sheridan County Libraries at no charge. So if you find the item you want at any of the Sheridan County Libraries, we will bring it in so you can pick it up at the library of your convenience.

When you need a book, article, or audiovisual item that is not available from us, we can usually obtain it for you from another library in Wyoming or elsewhere in the United States. We do charge a $2.00 per item fee for interlibrary loans. Payment is due when the item is picked-up and the fee will be charged to the your card even if you do not not pick up the item.

Interlibrary loan service offers a world of information at your fingertips — as long as you have
time to wait for items to come in the mail. This usually takes a week but may be longer for out of state items.

You will need a Sheridan County Library card, so please stop into your library to fill out an application. All you need to bring with you is a photo I.D.
