BE A PART OF HISTORY!

Did you know the Friends of the Sheridan County Library has been in existence since 1964? For 50 years, the Friends has brought together a wide variety of individuals to promote the library system and its services, raise money to assist the library with purchases, and communicate with library staff and the community about library needs. We need YOU in order to keep this organization flourishing and providing the library with community input and support. Join us today!

We serve all four library branches, including Story, Clearmont, Tongue River, and Fulmer. We volunteer, attend library events, create opportunities to show library staff how much they are appreciated, fundraise, purchase the books handed out to children during the Summer Reading Program, communicate with the Library Director about pressing issues facing the library system, and so much more.

The Friends of the Library meet the first Tuesday of every month in the Inner Circle at the Fulmer Public Library. 

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE BOARD:

We are currently looking for new Friends of the Library Board members and have several vacant board positions open as well as opportunities to help support our public library.
